Darren James Competes on BBC's
'THE UNDERDOG SHOW'
23 March 2007: Royvon Dog Training Schools' Managing Director, Darren James has been hand-selected amongst six other of the nation's
leading dog trainers to compete in a brand new entertainment show for the BBC entitled, "The Underdog Show"!
Eight children, assigned to eight different dog trainers have each adopted a rescue dog to compete live in basic obedience, agility courses
and doggy dancing! The show will be hosted by Julian Clary with his panel of esteemed judges, where each week one child and their dog will
be voted out of the competition.
The competing children range from year 5 to year 8 at school, with the rescue dogs supplied by the Dogs Trust. The dog trainers were
chosen following an extensive interview and screening process.

The first LIVE competition is to air Friday, 23 March and will run through 27 April 2007.

Darren James
Darren passed his first working trial qualification at the age of 13, becoming a professional, top level dog handler of German Shepherd at age 14. In 1994, he took co-ownership of the family business, Royvon Dog Training schools, with schools based in South Wales and Surrey.
